Eines der ersten Konzerte, die Notdurft Mitte der 90er nach etwa 10-jährigen Pause gebracht hat, fand am 9. März 1996 statt. Die Band war in Topform, das AJZ rappelvoll, die Stimmung so ausgelassen, dass die Biervorräte im Keller dem Durst des Publikums restlos erlagen. Auszugsweise gab es hier auf Überfall-Records hier und da einzelne Songs vom dazugehörigen Tondokument, unter anderem auf dem allerersten Tapesampler „Pu-Pu-Punküberfall – Das Böse ist immer und überall“ von 1996. 27 Jahre später gibt es nun das Konzert in (fast) voller Länge. Für mich war es das allererste Notdurft-Konzert, weswegen es eine besondere Bedeutung für mich hat. Von den mir bekannten Konzertmitschnitten ist dieses definitiv der von der Performance her beste. One of the first concerts Notdurft played in the 90s after a hiatus of about 10 years took place on 9 March 1996. The band was on fire, the club was packed, the atmosphere cooking, so that the beer stock was gone before the night was over. We had a few singular songs from the recording of that night on Überfall Records releases over the year, like on the very first tape compilation „Pu-Pu-Punküberfall – Das Böse ist immer und überall“. 27 years later, you get the (almost) complete concert. For me it was the first ever Notdurft gig. So it has a special meaning to me. But apart from that it certainly is performance wise the best recorded Notdurft concert that I know of.
